Meet Amigos Intelligence: Your Personal Cigar Concierge
It's time. We've just added something to Cigars Amigos that we think you'll love, an AI built for one thing only: cigars, and the world around them. We call it Amigos Intelligence, and it's live now. Think of it as a friend behind the counter who happens to know every lounge, every blend, and what's happening this weekend. You don't fill in forms or tap through menus, you just ask.
What you can ask it
Amigos Intelligence understands plain, everyday questions. Here are a few things to try:
Find a place to smoke. "Show me cigar lounges near me." It uses your location to surface the closest spots with the good ones first.
Book a table. "Book a lounge for tonight." It points you straight to venues you can reserve.
Identify a cigar from a photo. Tap the camera, snap the band, and ask "What's this cigar?" Our AI detection reads it and tells you what you're holding.
Discover blends by taste. "A medium-bodied Nicaraguan with a Maduro wrapper." It matches real cigars in our catalog to what you're in the mood for.
Never miss an event. "Cigar events this week." Tastings, releases, herfs, it knows the calendar.
Catch up on the culture. "Cigars 101" or "the latest cigar news" pulls guides and stories straight from The Leaf.
No special phrasing required. Ask the way you'd ask a person.
How it works
Under the hood, Amigos Intelligence reads your question, figures out what you're really after, and searches the same catalog, places, events, and articles that power the rest of the app. It then hands you real cards you can act on, open a cigar, get directions, reserve a table, read a review not just a wall of text.
When you ask for something "near me," it uses your device location (you'll be asked once for permission) to rank results by how close they actually are to you not just your city, but you.
This is just the beginning
We'll be honest with you: this is version one. Amigos Intelligence is smart, but it's still learning and it learns from you. Every cigar logged, every place reviewed, every event added by our community makes its answers sharper. This is the first AI shaped by the cigar community itself, and it gets better every day it's used.
