About this publication

Cigars Amigos is an independent online publication and community platform for cigar enthusiasts and the cigar trade. We publish editorial articles, guides and industry coverage, maintain a reference catalogue of cigars, brands and vitolas, and list cigar lounges, retailers and events worldwide. The platform is available in 23 languages.

Alongside our own editorial output, registered members contribute the greater part of what appears on the platform: posts, cigar reviews and ratings, photographs, comments, articles, and information about places and events. Members publish that content themselves, under their own name or username.

Editorial content produced by us is produced independently. Where an article is sponsored or produced in cooperation with a brand, it is labelled as such.

Member-contributed content

Content contributed by members is stored and made available at their request. We host it; we do not create it, adopt it as our own, or review it before publication, and we are under no general obligation to monitor it. Reviews, ratings, opinions and recommendations expressed in member content are those of their authors alone and do not represent the views of the publisher.

Each member is responsible for the content they publish and for holding the rights to any text or images they upload.

If you believe a contribution is unlawful, infringes your rights, or breaches our community guidelines, please report it using the report function shown on every post, review and comment, or write to legal@cigarsamigos.com. We review reports and remove or disable access to content promptly once we become aware that it is unlawful. Nothing above limits that obligation.

No sale of tobacco products

Cigars Amigos is a social and technology platform. We do not make, sell, or facilitate the sale of cigars or tobacco products. Prices and availability shown for retailers are informational and are supplied by the retailers themselves. This site is intended for adults of legal smoking age in their jurisdiction.

Liability for content and links

We prepare our own content with care, but we accept no liability for its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. For content contributed by members we are a hosting provider, and our liability is limited accordingly: it arises only once we have actual knowledge of unlawful content and fail to act on it. Catalogue data, opening hours, prices and stock information are supplied by members, venues and retailers and may be incomplete or out of date.

Our pages link to external websites over whose content we have no control. Liability for those pages rests with their respective operators. Links were checked for unlawful content at the time they were created; we will remove any such link promptly once we become aware of an infringement.

Content created by the publisher is protected by copyright. Members retain ownership of the content they post and grant us a licence to display it on the platform, as set out in our Terms of Service. Cigar brand names, logos and product images are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial purposes.
